Description
I went out to the Marjorie Mcneely Conservatory at Como Park and Zoo in St Paul Minnesota with two simple goals in mind, I wanted to capture images of Peacocks and lions. That is a pretty simple goal isn't it? Well all the birds were inside because of construction and the avian flu, strike one. So I went to attempt to capture the lions. I intended to get there early enough in the day so that the lions were still active, strike two, the lions were all asleep. So, in order to attempt to make the day successful I went for flowers in the conservatory area. The lilies were in full bloom and the clouds were rolling in and out so that there would be moments for perfect light. Well I guess after all, I was indeed successful capturing lilies and the interesting conservatory architecture. I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed the hunt and capturing.

This is a stunning image, Wayne! The contrast between the man-made modern structures and the soft patterns of the floating Lily pads is wonderful!
