The Hennepin Avenue Bridge is an iconic landmark in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It spans the Mississippi River and connects downtown Minneapolis with the northeast part of the city. The bridge is named after Hennepin Avenue, a major thoroughfare in Minneapolis.

The current Hennepin Avenue Bridge is actually the third bridge to be built at this location. The first bridge, constructed in the 1850s, was a wooden structure. It was later replaced by a steel bridge in the late 19th century. The current bridge, a steel arch bridge, was completed in 1990 and is known for its distinctive arched design and decorative lighting.
