This was one of those mornings that a photographer always hopes and prays for where they are going on a specific photographic journey. I was so excited that I was here at the right time.

Bayfield is a charming town located in northern Wisconsin, United States, on the shore of Lake Superior. It's known for its stunning scenery, including the Apostle Islands, which are a group of 22 islands in Lake Superior, offering opportunities for outdoor activities such as kayaking, sailing, hiking, and camping. Bayfield itself is a popular tourist destination, particularly during the summer months when visitors come to enjoy the natural beauty, explore the quaint downtown area with its shops and restaurants, and take part in various festivals and events. The town is also known for its apple orchards and hosts an annual Apple Festival in the fall. Additionally, Bayfield serves as a gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, where visitors can experience pristine wilderness, historic lighthouses, and scenic beaches.
