Description
Badlands National Park Road Trip
The purpose of this trip was...
1. To get away from normal life and to get refreshed a little bit.
2. To hike.
3. To learn some new techniques...
4. And to capture a certain picture that I had in my minds eye.
That certain picture was to be the majestic badlands (The grand canyon of the Midwest) in morning or evening light, you know, sunrise or sunset time frame.
Well it was only the first evening that we were there did we get any light conditions like I was looking for. So while I did not get the perfect shot I was looking for, this will have to do. ;-D

Great colors, light and shadows. Love this image Wayne. Probable I will visit this area in summer and when I see this beauty I am very happy about a visit there.

It is a great place to see.. Really spend some time here and do not just stop and look for a second.

Wayne, This may not be exactly what you wanted but it still is a very impressive capture. If memory serves there was a scene in the movie "Dances With Wolves" that featured a panorama of this place. Your body of work is top shelf and some of the very best on FAA....IMHO anyway! Jerry

Beautiful capture Wayne. I have been there but so many years ago. I like the sky as well as the badlands. f/l Ruth
